Living at the Cedar's has played a huge role in my college experience! In my opinion it's the BEST place to live as a BYUI student. The management is more than willing to help you out and the people here are great! I lived at one other apartment complex and the Cedar's is far superior to what I had. The apartments are spacious and the layout is great! Super close to campus and social events. If you want to live in a great environment, have an awesome social life, and work with great management you'll live at the Cedar's.

So I lived at the Cedars when they were just the Willows.. I’ve been here a while. I have a few pros and a few cons.nnConsn1. They find any reason to charge you (cleaning fees, end of the semester white glove fee, etc). They charge so much money per person for small things in the apartment. We had maybe 1 or 2 bags of food left in the refrigerator and it’s about $10 per bag I think? They charged everyone in my apartment $18. So they made $108 off us.nn2. They’ve messed up my roommates parking situation. She had already paid for a spot, they forgot to assign her a spot but didn’t refund her. They ended up giving her a spot but it was after the semester started. And booting is a mess when the semester starts.nn3. They management has turned pretty robotic. They’re super nice people but I honestly don’t feel like they try to help people anymore like the used to. They just give everyone the same answer and I guess hope they issue gets resolved.nn4. The women’s side has a good amount of parking but not enough for everyone. Parking runs out so fast you better be on that if you even want to try and get a spot.nn5. Men’s parking?! HA WHERE. I feel bad for the men’s side. There’s hardly enough parking for them and it’s a mess back there. I’ve had my brother and multiple friends get booted because each person in management can’t give the same answer as to where Cedars parking is. They should make little handouts of the parking layout and correctly mark Cedars men’s parking.nn6. This one isn’t a con because of the management. But the hot tub‘s are closed pretty frequently because some people don’t know how to use them correctly so management has had to close them down often. This kind of sucks because everyone pays to use the amenities but some people hog them and in one way or another don’t really allow other people to use it.nn7. So this is something that I experienced firsthand and it made me pretty upset. I had lived at the Cedars for a very long time and I thought I had a pretty OK/good relationship with the management but apparently not. When the Cedars was created there were no discounts or deals made for the women’s side. But I have had multiple guy friends who have been able to make deals with the management and get discounts on the men’s contracts. Not fair..? Be consistent please.nnProsn1. I know I said that there isn’t a lot of parking but the good thing is that there is a pretty good sized parking garage. And usually you can get a spot on the same level you’re living on. This is pretty nice in the winter time because it gets so freaking cold.nn2. The layouts of the women’s apartments are awesome and I love how there are respective bathrooms for each room so there’s really no chance of overcrowding when needing to use the bathroom area.nn3. The location is pretty dang awesome. I had most of my classes on the northern half of campus so for me it was perfect because everything was pretty close.nn4. When you move in you get a cute little discount card for some of the places in Hemming village and that’s kind a nice.nn5. Update pro: some of the people on the management team are very sweet and kind. And care. It’s hard to find people in management that are willing to help and be genuine. Again, I was in Rexburg a while and hopped from place to place and The Cedars is one of the places I would recommend solely based on the people. Also remember that all management teams for each housing has certain responsibilities they need to keep based on the rules the school creates. So not all management people are mean. Just some.

I have loved living here! The staff is all very friendly and very accommodating with any questions or concerns you might have. They even provide you with quarters for the washers that haven’t been phased out to new ones yet so that’s nice. The amenities are very nice too! Love having cable in a man cave/guys apartment! I would highly recommend living here!

Management here is really easy to work with and really accommodating to my requests. Great apartments with several amenities on site. Definitely glad I signed here for my last few semesters of college.

What made my experience very frustrating is that we only have one fridge for the price we are paying. During the winter is very dangerous to walk into the building because they don't put no salt on the entree ways. Luckily I didn't get injured when I would slip but is a huge hazard. The only good thing is that wards are very fun to be part of & the Bishops I had living here were some of the best ones.
