Madison County Drivers License

I have been trying to call sense they said after 1230 to call. It is now 1245 and the message is still the same. Poor customer service. Hopefully nobody forgot to turn on the phone.

It took over 3 1/2 hours to get a drivers license transferred from another state. It was a combination of human error, a bad computer system, and 6 calls to less than helpful tech support in Boise. If you go there, make sure you take a lunch, a book, and a comfortable chair. (There was no place to sit when we got there)

I waited for an hour, after taking a ticket and being told to sit down and wait by one of the ladies that runs the driver’s license tests. I was only told 15 minutes AFTER they had stopped testing that it was over. No apology, nothing. I had no idea that testing stopped at 4pm and I wasted my time thinking my turn was coming. Thanks for nothing. I’ve not seen anything anywhere that says you stop testing at 4. I honestly don’t want to come back but I have to so I can get a new license.

The service I received was relatively fast, and friendly. However, this DMV is no different than any other. There's a very small waiting room (only about 15 people can sit down), so expect to stand during busy hours. You will be waiting at least 30 minutes when busy, so bring something to do.
