Madison Memorial Hospital: Emergency Department

I was very impressed with how I was treated, and how well the night time doctor on call coordinated my care. They were quick, efficient, thorough, and ensured that I received the best care possible in the moment, and also in the future.

The staff in night shift were unprofessional. We waited for at least 3 hours for a single pill. Most of the staff were laughing and the doctor was just sitting around and rude.

This place is awesome. Judy answered a ton of questions that I had and they got me in really fast. AnaLee was the BEST nurse I've ever had anywhere. She was very fast and efficient, and didn't make me feel like I was being an inconvenience by being there.nThe doctors work really fast and the communication is great. They even let my roommate come back to the room with me. They have super cute kids rooms with murals of animals and nature. I am not a kid anymore, but I can still appreciate this! If I ever need to visit the Urgent Care again, I will definitely choose to come back here! (they also have the BEST orange juice)

They were a little slow at :30 min with 4 waiting including myself, so they're not an EIRMC, But darn close in the waiting department.nOnce in they were very efficient and fairly quick having me completely done in about an hour, including an X-ray, shot in the shoulder, amit, and Nurse's discharge instructions read and explained to me about Doctors orders.nnYes, I would return if ever needed they're great!nnFrank

Just.... just no. Took a friend here not too long ago as he was having a hard time breathing. Apparently they didn't do to well as they only checked his breathing via stethoscope. Eventually he went to Idaho Falls and they found the problem. It was not something you could have found with a stethoscope. The other experience experienced here was also not mine but as I am related to this said person i feel it necessary to comment. The doctor was insistent that she had (very specific condition) and had her do a very specific test even though it was impossible for that condition to occur due to health reasons that prevented it. She protested the test but apparently the doctor was having none of it. Did the said test and what do you know, test was negative. We as well went to another location to get it sorted out. I know this is hospital and people have received genuine aid and got the help they needed so I wont say they do everything wrong. I don't know if most know, but I find it more sad the longer I live here the more I find that this hospital is the butt end of a lot of jokes. From observing, that normally is not a good thing for a hospital. Cheers!nnEdit: I do not want a reply as I have noticed you (the hospital) seem to try to reply to make things right. Not saying that's bad, but we are comfortable in another source of care, even if it is further away. Cheers!
