I think it's quite shameful that they will not assist in rescuing a kitten that is stuck right now and has been all day in a gutter on the third level of a row home. We were told call the police, the police said call the shelter, the shelter said call animal control and animal control said oh too bad we don't have a ladder long enough. it's freezing out. That kitten is a young girls love and she can't reach it and everyone who she's asked has passed the buck to some other department.
We love our community and all the residents that live in it.
I called the them to come to my house because i smelled something burning and didn't know what it was they came here snd said they didn't smell anything but salmon and cat food didn't look at anything else. They treated me and my family like we were crazy and then left. Once we came back in my son noticed that the baseboard was burning and that's what we were smelling we could have just listened to them and possibly wound up with an electrical fire while we slept. I hate to say this but i feel because im muslim and black they didn't go the extra mile to check everything they could have and should have. Now if my son didnt notice it and turn it off it could have been a worse situation than smell. The smell was so bad it made me feel sick and get a headache. I am disappointed in the people i put my trust in to guarantee my safety and that is sad
