Pizza Time Saloon

We’ve been ordering from this place on and off for a couple of months and honestly, the food is decent. Not great but decent. Decent enough to order when we want quick, decent food. However, tonight when we called the place to order, we were confronted with some of the rudest behavior I’ve ever encountered in placing an order anywhere in my life. For whatever reason, the woman who answered the phone could not be bothered. Additionally, anytime I asked a question she gave extreme attitude. She even told me to hurry up and make my mind up when I was talking to my wife only for a brief second about what she wanted on the side for one of our meals. Also, she made it very clear that she was going to charge us additional for each additional sauce on the side that we were ordering - although we’ve never been charged for additional sauces before. Another odd behavior from her was that when I explained where we were located, she said sarcastically, “I heard about you” which was very odd because I’ve always been nothing but friendly on the phone to everyone I’ve talked to and always tipped the driver well.nnOverall, her attitude was very poor and my wife and I both felt a bit embarrassed. There are plenty of other pizza places in the area that are more than willing to take our business and have just as good if not better food.nnGiven her abysmal attitude and decision to overcharge for each additional side of sauce this time around even though we weren’t charged for them in the past, Pizza Time saloon has lost more than the money for additional sauce…they lost our business. If the woman on the phone was actually pleasant and provided better service, They would not have lost our business.nnSo if the owner of Pizza Time saloon reads these reviews, he or she can think the woman working on August 28 around 10:15 PM for the loss of a good customer.nnUltimately, this review provides only a couple examples of her rude behavior but overall, there were so many instances of rudeness that it made us feel uncomfortable that we chose not to continue with the order. Frankly, I have never encountered such rude behavior in ordering food before.

We were looking for a local pizza place to deliver pizza for our wedding after party for about 50 people in November 2019. We needed the pizza delivered around midnight and after speaking with Pizza Time, they let me know that they closed at 11pm. 20 minutes later, they called me back and told me that the owner was willing to stay open later to make our pizza and deliver it because he would love to have our business. It was so kind of them and we happily placed our order. The pizza was delicious and the fact that they went above and beyond for our business really speaks volumes about them.

Solid offerings across the menu: pizza, stromboli, chicken parm, etc. Usually pretty timely delivery. Service has been consistently pretty good.nnOpen a little later than some other pizza places in the area, which is another plus.

Tried this spot already with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I enjoyed the great vibes and flavorful dishes and beverages. I recommend this place.

Good pizza, chicken parm sandwich is a good choice! Cheesesteak stromboli is really good!
