This company has put a terrible taste in our mouth for insurance companies in general. We fought with them after our son was born jumping through loophole after loophole of paperwork and after a long battle of over 7 months of back and forth and even discussing with upper management the concerns and frustration they didn’t even come close to compensating our out of pocket expense for our son’s birth. I will continue to deter people from this awful company any chance I get. We pay for our insurance and they don’t even protect us and take care of us when it comes time for it, especially during a time when we should be recovering and relaxing and enjoying our time with our new baby. It’s really sickening.

I would rate 0 stars if I could. Save yourself from this company pls! Every time I try to log on, it says my session has expired or I logged in wrong, but will not send a new password to my email. Call them for help, but they are not much help. This has gone on for a year now and nothing gets fixed! Try to put new information on my personal information ( like new number) and does not save. Still have my 3 phones ago number on there and I just gave up trying.

No one answers the phone that can give you real answersnIt’s just a robot person in Boise that knows nothing , doesn’t care or bothnWhy doesn’t the manager of this office , come on line or the phone and correct all these problems ? Do you ever look at your reviews ? Do your job or let some else do it for you . Take some responsibility for all the money we pay you Blue Cross of Idaho

I haven't been able to log into the BC of I website for 2 months, and customer service can't fix it from their end, apparently. I ended up having to pay my bill over the automated phone payment system, which took 45 minutes, and 6 phone calls during which the automated system hung up on me twice in the middle of trying to pay my bill. I feel bad for the people who work there, as they seemed to be pretty helpless, and at the mercy of really awful systems and websites. The website and the automated phone system desperately need upgraded and fixed, it seems.

They repeatedly change rules and regulations every provider I talk to tells me that the problem is with my insurance company (Blue Cross). I have several health problems and now they are telling me that they are not covering MEDICALLY NECESSARY supplies and treatments. If this keeps up I have two choices, go ballistic and end up in a psych lock down for the rest of my life or just give up on life. Whats the point if you can't even get the things that you need to live like a HEALTHY human being....
