Dakshina Murthy temple

Small temple .. it’s more a place for meditation than deities .. we were in the meditation hall for about 30 mins and it was amazing .. it’s next to sharadhaambal temple.. hence you can have both visits in the same day . Be cognizant when you bring in kids to the meditation hall. If they make noise it will disturb others . Overall a peaceful experience

An excellent location providing peace and quiet for meditation. I was in awe the first time I visited and spent the night as it was rejuvenating experience giving you time to reflect. The campus provides various facilities for day visit or longer stay. The temple is very nice and simple. Prayers are performed in Vedic rites. Cafeteria is fantastic for Prasad. I have visited various times of the year and have attended the discourses on Bhagvat Gita which are highly recommended.
