Pizza 1 has been our very large family's go to Pizzeria for delicious authentic Italian Pasta, Pizza, great customer service and great family atmosphere in our hometown in the Poconos. Hands down even after the transition of owners the pizza and service remained and STILL IS GREAT and we remained loyal.nnRegrettably It is sad and unfortunate to say that WE (Immediate friends and family) will no longer be supporting this establishment.nnA few weeks back my wife and daughter decided they wanted to stop by for a slice of pizza and beef Patty as they normally do when shopping in town, on this day it was particularly busy.nnAfter 40 minutes of waiting she politely asked if the order was not placed if they could kindly cancel it.nnAs a result the Pizzeria Owner became extremely irate and upset and told her the pizzeria was busy. My wife responded that it was fine, it has been 40 minutes, if the order hasn't been started please cancel it.nnPlease understand that My family and I have the utmost respect for this man, his family and his restaurant. His family has fed my family for years with great service and great food and for tat we are grateful. As a result we in turn consider him and his family friends.nnUltimately this man decides to humiliate my wife and daughter in restaurant full of people and YELL at them remarks, and sentiments that I do not wish to repeat.nnIn short the food is great and we have never have had any complaint.nnUnfortunately our last experience will be our last.....nnPizza 1 My family and I would like to thank you for years of great food and service, with that said we will be moving on.nnMy family and I wish you and your family the best this holiday season may god bless you and continue to provide and prosper.nnSent on behalf of my wife Rosa.....

Truly the best pizza in the area. Friendly service. First choice pizza when ordering out! Dough is thin crust, sauce is flavorful and not over salted. Stromboli was delicious according to hubby, the meat eater. Highly recommend this pizzeria.

The first time I had the pizza here I was kind of disappointed. But like a true New Yorker who loves pizza I decided to give them another try. I'm so glad I did. I gave up trying to find any other and it's ok cause pizza 1 is like a home to me. The owner and his family are some of the nicest people I have met. And I even love the delivery guy. They are super fast on deliveries too. The pizza is awesome. Another positive was the cheese calzone. First its hard to find an actual Simple Cheese calzone that is made correctly. Pizza 1 gets big thumb up for the calzone. It's spot on. Highly reccomend
