Recently moved to Pennsylvania. I started to have a very bad tooth ache. Prior to going to Horizon Dental, I went to another Dentist. This dentist took me to a room to take a full mouth x-ray. After my x-rays were read I was told I needed $16,000 worth of dental work. No discussion about fixing my tooth ache. I walked out with a severe tooth ache.nnThe next day I called Horizon Dental. They were able to see me the following day. What a difference from the other Dentist office. They treated me like a long time valued patient. X-rays were taken. Then they repaired my aching tooth.nnTheir office is extremely clean, staff is extreme courteous and Dr Rinehimer is a skilled caring dentist.nnI would highly recommend their office. I'm 59 years old. Have been to several dentists in my lifetime. Horizon Dental is the best. They have a new lifetime patient.

As usual, excellent service and attention to detail even in these intetesting times. Being greeted by name, quickly getting situated in the dentist chair and the reasonable cost of the procedure are wonderful (but common) joys of my Horizon appointment.

It's understandably difficult to find a dentist open during the pandemic but I badly needed one. After spending time searching for those my insurance listed, I found Horizon Dental, whose website specifically mentions that they accept all insurances. When I called for help however, I was told they did not accept my insurance and couldn't help. If the deceptive or simply inaccurate information on their website is any indication of their competence, I'm not impressed.nn[Edit: In reply to their very belated response, the claim to work with all insurances wasn't even remotely mentioned when I called nor is this explained on their website. I was told that my insurance wasn't accepted and that I would need to have full payment, period. Whomever it was that I was speaking with didn't give a damn that I was upset and in pain. No money... not their problem.]

Great and friendly folks, but God they were brutal when cleaning my teeth. Like with the metal scraper, they were just scraping and stabbing my gums. But everything aside went just fine.
