Great sermons, preached straight from the Bible. Pastor Paul breaks down each verse and explains its meaning going back to before it was interpreted into English. Very friendly staff that make you feel welcomed and Loved. The main focus is on Jesus and faith in him we have our salvation. Some reviewers below mentioned politics turned them away. Politics are talked about in this church and how we as Christians need to support and vote for people who support biblical views and support what our country was founded on.nnThey also keep the congregation informed with what is happening around the world with Christians and prophecy.

My wife and I love this church. We visited here when we were looking to move to the area and they welcomed us in with open arms. The staff is extremely friendly, and the pastor is funny, but has a no-BS mentality about the Bible which I really appreciate. If it's in there, it's truth, no matter how much you might not like it. Candlelight has multiple services on Sunday and during the rest of the week, so if you need to get close to God, they are always there for you. This church has become our home.

Visited today after listening to sermons online which proved OK. We left because they were too political. We are conservative and don't mind a little politics, but it was overboard. They went on and on and proceeded to pray for a second term for the current president at length, pretty much telling folks how to vote. We won't be back.

This church is the reason people cry out for churches to lose their tax exemption.nnMy husband and I are looking for a church in CDA that preaches the Bible. Listened to a sermon, things checked out okay. Liked the sermons. Looked at the website in depth, nothing particularly objectionable.nnHowever, my husband and I were shocked on our visit at how political this church is. We are conservatives and we don't mind a little politics. They spoke about guns for what seemed like a long time, again, we can let that slide. The pastor seems to be a gun enthusiast. Whatever.nnWe ended up walking out of the service when the pastor began to pray at considerable length for the re-election of the current president. Not just for wisdom or guidance or the usual stuff you hear, but for him to be elected for a second term. This church basically tells its congregation how to vote.

Best bible teaching anywhere!! We have learned more here than any other church in the country. Not only great teaching, but the people truly care and love the community. We have found our home!! God is good!
