It was a beautiful hike through the woods. Nice pictures from the scenic look out spot on the trail.
This is a great place for a easy/moderate hike with the family where you can see abundant wildlife as well. We live just a few miles away and enjoy it very much. Tonight we walked “Chad’s Trail” and saw a few deer, a Northern Brown Snake (pretty sure), many frogs/tadpoles and even walked up on an adult black bear, who gladly moved along without incident. Prep for ticks though. Like most places anymore, they’re a part of life here.
What a hidden gem ! Hiked the preserve today for the first time. Well marked and maintained trail system. Kid friendly with nets available for exploration of the pools.Nice mix of terrain .
Absolutely beautiful!! Very nice hiking
This is a great place for a hike in the country. It has some wide well kept trails for easy hiking. There are also a few trails that go through dense forest areas for a nature enthusiast. There are several benches and seats to rest and one vista with a wonderful view. Would definitely go back especially when the leaves are turning.
