Rider Park is a great place to hike and view the natural beauty of PA. The several different hiking paths range from easy (beginner) to very difficult (expert) and are well maintained. Lots of parking at the entrance to the park plus an information sign/station that has free maps available. There are also rest rooms , a pavilion w/ picnic tables, plus a few scattered picnic tables about the area. A few of the paths lead you to breath taking vistas of the PA countryside & mountains. All of this & just a short ride from Williamsport, PA.
Our family loves Rider Park. We’ve gone at least once a year for 12 years. Some good easy hikes for families with great vistas. Moderate hikes too. Beautiful wildflower meadow and picnic tables.

So interesting and well maintained and full of history. We've enjoyed this park for years and it's getting more and more popular as it's becoming better known. The trail maps are great, the vistas are beautiful. Definitely a great day out.
