I followed the recommended 4 mile loop from pabucketlist.com, which recommends starting at the Lake Rose Trailhead and hiking the Falls Trail in a counter-clockwise fashion. We saw around 20 waterfalls, most of which were labeled with signs, on our leisurely hike that took about 4 hours. I highly recommend bringing a map from the visitor center while hiking as there are different trails and it would be easy to loose track of one's location in the park mid-hike.nnOf note, some portions of the hike are rather steep and somewhat strenuous, and one should be mindful of this when considering bringing pets, children, or others with mobility concerns.

It’s really beautiful. Worth walking through the trail but it is too crowded. No one was following social distancing measures nor wearing masks which was really devastating. If you are willing to go, opt weekdays, I hope during weekdays there will be less crowd.

Great place to start the 3.2 mile hike to catch all the 21 falls on this path. Park here and you have an easy hike back to the parking lot from the last falls, Onandaga. Beautiful place.

Magical and must see in a lifetime! Plan ahead so that you get to enjoy your hike even though it is challenging. Saw little kids as young as 3 years old and older adults. Starting at the Lake Rose Trail is easier and coming out the other side.

Lake Rose trail head starts from Lake Rose parking lot and connects to the falls loop trail. Once on the trail, the path winds down and forks at 0.1 mile. The right forks leads to series of waterfalls one after another - Mohawk falls, Oneida, Cayuga and Ganoga falls are the first four. The right fork is quite steep and goes downhill. Great views along the creek.
