Dr Brown's Children's Dental

If I could give 0 stars I would. The office and staff are rude. My son has been going to the dentist every 6 months since he was 2 he is now 6. Unfortunately our family dentist does not doing fillings or extensive dental work on young children so when my son developed more cavities that I would like to admit we decided to go to this office. Because I am a Travel Register Nurse on assignment a little over an hour away from home my husband had to take our son to his appointments. The first time going to that office they acted like my husband was an unfit parent because our 6 year old son had cavities. Now this is already horrifying and we feel like we dropped the ball and they feed on that. Ok we let it go because my son needed the work done. My husband takes my son to get his caps and fillings... Dr Brown never discusses what type of caps he is going to be using or whether or not there were options..this man put metal caps where you can visibly see when my son smiles. I am horrified and in fact enraged. I honestly know many children who develop quite a few cavities because they are CHILDREN and do not have metal caps where you can see them smile. Being a Registered Nurse I am quite confused as to why the options were never discussed with my husband. In any other procedure this must be discussed. Yes this is a baby teeth but you do not treat people like this. This is disgusting and if you do not want to practice anymore I suggest you retire.

Dr. Brown and his staff are the best. I have been going to Dr. Brown since I was 2 or 3 yrs. old. My two sisters and I love going to Dr. Brown.

Extremely rude and impatient with children. My daughter had fillings previously and was fine. She came back for one more and he must’ve hit a nerve with the needle or something. Her cheek swole up and was red instantly. She kept saying her cheek hurt and was ignored. Then Dr. Brown put a bite block in and tried drilling her tooth and she started screaming. He yelled at her (a 7 year old) and told her if she kept it up he would make Mom (me, who hadn’t interfered at all yet) leave the room. At that point, I stood up and grabbed her. I’ve had the experience myself where the injections didn’t numb the tooth that was being worked on and my dentist just gave me more anesthesia. He decided to make her a sedation appointment and as he explained to me what the paperwork said (as if I can’t read it myself) he yelled at her to stop crying so he can explain this to Mom. He and his assistant continued to insist that she couldn’t feel anything...the same child that he’s given fillings to before and she didn’t behave this way. So clearly, it’s not fear, it’s pain! Now she’s terrified of the dentist. Now 4 days later, her cheek is still swollen and she still has pain in her cheek to the point that she winces and pulls away when I brush her teeth on that side.

My mom took my brother and I to him and now I take my son! He loves going to the dentist now and the staff is always amazing !! Dr brown was always good with my brothers extensive oral issues and he was quite kind and caring to my son who was a little nervous with his first visit

Love it , so nice patient , my son enjoy his 1st visit they were so calm and made it such a brilliant experience for him defiantly would recommend ! Dr was nice so was all the staff there .
