Children's Dentistry

I can’t believe my kiddo actually loves going to the dentist! My little girl (Gisele), especially with how timid she is, loves visiting Dr. Bryson and his staff. They treat her so well there, and it means a lot to me that she has such a happy experience. Children’s Dentistry is amazing in the care they provide; they make her feel safe and welcome every time, all while keeping a professionalism that gives me confidence in knowing she's in expert hands. As a mom, trusting my kid's dentist speaks volumes about who they are—I tell all of my family and friends to take their kids there. :)

I have brought 3 of my kids here for the last couple of years. I really love going to the dentist myself. When I brought my 3 y/o I knew she might be nervous. I asked repeatedly for them to wait until she made the decision to sit on the table herself and that I was not going to force her. They wouldn’t even wait 5 minutes. They kept telling me I had to get her up. This was my first time feeling unhappy.nnThe same appointment my 2 sons were seen. One of them had 3 cavities and 2 spots that needed to be watched. We made an appointment to come back to have his cavities fixed. My son did well. He was a little teary but sat still for the whole procedure. The doc said all went well and the tech brought me to the exit to schedule the follow up. They scheduled him for 3 months later.nn3 months later when I went back they told me they needed to get an updated x-ray of his cavities. Confused I said his cavities were filled. The tech told me only 1 cavity was filled because of “bad behavior”. I was there and he was good.. so I said again that all his cavities were filled and he did great. She checked the records again and told me only 1 was filled. I was upset that this was not comminuted to me AND that if they weren’t filled they thought it was appropriate to wait 3 months to address it.nnThe doctor came in and said that the doc who performed the surgery wasn’t in the office today and that he wouldn’t do the filling unless I agreed to general anesthesia because they were not able to confirm weather or not he had bad behavior. I told them again I was there. They could confirm with me. He again refused and said he wouldn’t do the fillings and told me I needed to go elsewhere. He wouldnt even consider doing it under only nitrous.nnI am a very kind person, I was blown away the doctor refused to believe me and treat my son. At the counter to leave I asked for my sons records which they told me they would email. After 3 days of not receiving the records I called again. They sent me all the records EXCEPT the visit where his 1 cavity was filled that they claimed he had bad behavior. I called and said the records were missing a visit and she said she would email again. This happened 3 times of her emailing me the records with the 1 record missing. I finally called again and said I would wait on hold until I received the record for that date. After finally receiving the record all it says under behavior is “patient was good”. I can’t imagine why I was told it said he was bad. Either they changed the record or read it wrong.nnThe whole experience makes me feel really uneasy. I am not sure what’s going on in that office but someone is being dishonest.

We have been going to Dr. Bryson for 8 years now and just recently started taking our 18 month old. He takes the time always to make sure your kids are comfortable and talks them through everything. He’s an amazing doctor overall!

When a beautiful, healthy 5 year old boy dies while in the care of Dr. Paige Schmidt and anesthesiologist Dr. Ryan Judd within SIX MINUTES of being taken back they should NOT be practicing! They are STILL practicing as usual and giving NO answers to the family. They wouldn’t let his mother be in the room with him and he will never come back. This is NOT ok! PLEASE don’t take your children here. Justice for Jetty!

My grandkids love Dr. Bryson! They have been kind and easy to work with.
