Great trails, shady and safe. I love to walk and run here!
Scenic rail to trail. 6 miles one-way. Goes along the river and through Helertown.
It's a beautiful short trail. Traffic is exceptionally courteous at the crossings and there's a nice park at the end. Just wish it was longer.
Easy, leisurely trail. I ride my mountain bike here when I want to take it easy. Well maintained. Moderately traveled (usually). Regardless of being close to many homes, I tend to spot some wildlife. I've seen deer multiple times, and of course ground hogs, squirrels etc. Hardly a nature trail however. Most of your ride you'll see homes on either side of the trail and that would be my only complaint if I had to search for one. They also have stations with working bathrooms and water fountains
My favorite place to walk through nature.
