Was a great little piece of history at a super cheap rate.

The museum is small but the history lesson there from the museum keeper was incredible. Also you will be able to touch one of the actual liberty bells made by the french.

Very interesting and informative. The gentleman took time to answer questions and was very knowledgeable. Thanks for the history lesson!

A small museum to honor hiding the Liberty Bell from the British. When the British occupied Philadelphia they wanted to melt the bells down for bullets. Thankfully they got all the bells out. While the church that the bell was hidden in doesn't exist anymore this church is on the exact spot. It consists of two rooms. The first room is a gift shop and exhibits unrelated to the bell. During our visit it was about immigration. The second room has a replica of the bell that you can. Caution the clapper is very heavy and you only tap it against the side. The worker helped us ring it. There was also a copy of the Declaration of Independence with a desk as well as a replica of a a wagon used to transport the bell. There were also Revolution weapons and house hold items. The worker gave a great presentation of the timeline of the bell's time in Allentown and other American Revolution facts. We were allowed to stay past four because he was still talking.

Great small museum, definitely worth stopping by to learn the story of how the Liberty Bell was hidden there during the Revolutionary War.
