I was never a church person. Every time I went to a church I always felt judged, unwelcome, lower than the people going to that church. But... from the second I had stepped foot into the First Baptist Church I knew I was home!!! Not once in the 9 months my family and I have been going have we felt judged, treated badly or told we aren't good enough. The atmosphere in the First Baptist Church is one of a kind! The people are so loving, kind and actually care. They've become a part of my everyday life and I now see them all as my family! They are my family! I would recommend Winnemucca's First Baptist Church to any and every person I talk to from now until the day I die. If you're lost and ready to be saved, give your life to the lord or even just looking for good people who care then First Baptist Church is the place for you!!!

It's refreshing to find a church where the people are so warm and friendly, the music is uplifting and the pastor not only is a gifted preacher but is also caring and easy to talk to. Most importantly, this is a Bible believing, Christ centered church, with a heart for reaching the lost and caring for everyone with the love of Jesus. I would not hesitate to recommend First Baptist to anyone looking for a church in Winnemucca, or just wanting to know more about what it means to be a Christian.
