This is such a cool comic book store!! We've been looking for certain pops and comics fora long time and they had them!! Fantastic selection with new and vintage inventory. It's totally worth a visit.
This is one of the best places in our area. I sold part of my collection of MTG and they gave me a very fair price. I did business with them twice and i look forward to doing it again. Playing magic there was very nice as well. They fallow safety guidelines very well so for now no tournaments. They always wear masks and require them upon entry. If you dont have one, they will GIVE you one. You cant ask for more. I would go out of my way to go here over others.
Been shopping here for 14 years. Staff is great prices are by far the best. Owner is probably one of smartest comic dealers in country who knows trends and goes to conventions around US. Don’t like the organized chaos? - then find another place with a worse selection and higher prices. The Encounter is by far the best LCS in the region and beyond.
Great selection of comics and cards. The guys really care about the customer to get you whatever comic book toy, or gaming related item you’re after, and for a good price.nnNice variety of items, plus plenty of different comic bins to dig through. Frequently replenished dollar bins have been getting better lately as well.nnLooking forward to the end of COVID restrictions when the gaming area returns. The Encounter is a great place to belong!
Worth the drive. Good selection of new and old books/games. Staff was pleasant and helpful too.
