Bishop Kelly High School

Don't get me wrong, I really liked going to BK but they could use work on enforcing their 'no tolerance' (no bullying) policy. Overall I would send my kids here, great school, good education but sets good standards and enforces policy on paper only.

Great faculty and staff with excellent resources for students.

Bishop Kelly is super cool. I enjoy attending this school and I can tell that I am being taught at a very high level. I am ready for college thanks to this school.

We now have both our kids there, and could not be more impressed. They both attended a small Classical Christian school in Boise from K-10 and K-8, and it was a wonderful, challenging, faith based environment. We moved to BK for AP courses, the outstanding academic and sports programs and frankly, to give them more challenge in a larger, more diverse but still faith based environment. There are the normal teenage challenges found at any High School, but BK's promise is that they will develop the Mind, Body and Spirit, and it lives up to that in a challenging, joyous environment. At every level, from the President to the newest teacher, the leadership is superb. It is a family.

The administrators at Bishop Kelly seem to be unavailable to parents and students. I had an academic concern that I brought to the vice principal and I was completely disregarded. She must have been busy dealing with other disgruntled parents by the way I was dismissed. She had a very snooty and cavalier attitude when I spoke with her on the phone and didn’t seem the least bit interested in doing what was right or fair. Rather, she acted like I was wasting her time. I subsequently emailed the principal to follow up and I never received a response from him either. I am surprised and disappointed by their unprofessionalism.
