Fantastic staff and an amazing sports medicine doctor, Dr. Miller, who repaired my torn meniscus yesterday. Simply the best of the best in terms of patient care and support. Excellent service rendered by all that I encountered from my first visit. Dr. Miller was spot on in her diagnosis and had me immediately scheduled for surgery in short order at a wonderful hospital facility treasure valley hospital only four miles from my home in garden City where I received even more star treatment. Dr. Miller ensured my husband was kept up to date during the entire process and even had a PT appointment on the books for this Friday. Definitely recommend them for any sports or simply daily life encountered injuries. I could not have asked for a better patient experience. Love Dr Grimm he was amazing with my 7 year old. So blessed to be referred here. He performed surgery on my daughter's wrist. Both bones were broken and he had to pin one back together. I was a nervous wreck but he took such wonderful care of her and we were blessed to be in such good hands. Definitely recommend.

Penny (Dr Scheffel's) nurse is a rock star. She hounded my insurance to get a pre-approval. She also kept me informed the whole time!

Having to face a season ending injury was made a little easier with an extremely caring staff. Our surgeon (Dr.Miller) understands being a competitive athlete & advises you in the most beneficial way to get back to competing. The staff at the front desk works quickly to help deal with insurance. The entire Rehab staff is awesome & creative in helping you become better than you were before your injury.nMy daughter, husband & I have all been treated with compassion & encouragement at ISMI. I recommend seeing ISMI for the athletes & non-Athletes.

Dr. Scheffel at ISMI is absolutely amazing! I was referred to him by a friend and ultra runner when I first moved to Boise and am grateful for the introduction! He has seen me for a stress fracture in my ankle which healed and had me running again!nAnd now a broken pelvis! He is accurate in his physical assessments, judicious in his test ordering, and very considerate in his care instructions. He will help you stay active in your healing process in a manner that keeps you safe without losing fitness. Very important to an ICU nurse and avid mtn biker who uses fitness as her outlet!
