I had highlights done by Alyssa. She did a great job. The teacher Ms Melisa was assisting through out the process. I was very pleased. Thank you EBS and keep up the good work Alyssa you will be very successful in the beauty industry.

There have been a million changes. I was caught off guard with all the changes that came with Covid and new staff. But I have to admit the changes have been good. I'm excited again to be a student here.

Empire Beauty School is the best.nI’ve been getting my salon needs there for I believe 7 years. Always have an awesome experience. Miss K is great!!nAnd Tina is one of the best stylists I’ve had. Very efficient. And she always has a smile. And she’s fun to be around.

Horrible experience and the girl at the front was completely rude. I wanted to give some students a try with my hair but didn’t even make it into the chair. They said I needed a patch. So I asked if I could get it today and they say yes but we can’t die your hair today which makes zero sense when I have had my hair died before. I then left and called multiple other places and they all said it was ridiculous that no place requires that. Yes they may do it but they don’t require it if you’ve had your hair dyed before. She was completely unprofessional. And I called a couple days ago to make sure everything was good and that I didn’t need anything. The lady said she everything was fine but was short and hung up right away. This is not my fault and I will not recommend.

I was there today to get a perm. The student called the teacher over and the teacher told her what color rods to use. I do have short hair but have been getting perms with this length hair for years. They could see my hair but didn't say anything about it being short. She started to wrap my hair but I could tell it wasn't going well because she kept spraying it with water and slamming the bottle down. She got the teacher and she told her what to do. Plus she wasn't using the right comb to separate the hair. The teacher came back again and the student said could someone help her. The teacher said she didn't have anyone. They weren't busy at all. Finally the teacher walked past again and told her she said not to wrap that far down. Then the teacher came back tried to put one rod in and after about an hour and half the teacher said we can't do it. They did say they would wash and dry it but that's not what I wanted. I feel they really didn't try they just decided it was too much trouble. I won't be going back for anything. They weren't very professional. Imagine doing that at a salon. Are they teaching the students that if they feel something is too hard just say you can't do it? Very unhappy!!
