Delicious Pork, Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes. Very cheesy Mac and Cheese, really enjoyed the cucumber salad. My husband may not have been impressed with his Hinkle burger, but did say his fresh cut fries were done perfectly. Server was great and although it took a little while to get our food, I did not mind as I knew it was all home made. Made it worth waiting for and what is the rush! I go out to eat, relax and enjoy. They also have a great gift shop. Thank you. Last photos are Fried Eggplant, Tuna Noodle Casserole and Cheeseburger with Fries. All so good.
I will first say the food was good. However the service is severely lacking. With covid conditions and having small about of customers you would think service would be faster. Waited for a long period of time to get our food and then waiting for the waitress to return never happened till we got up to walk up to the register which another costumer did as well. Finally as we walked up to pay the bill the waitress finally came back asking if we wanted dessert. Please fix staffing practices.
This is the 2nd time we have came here. The first time last year, we sat for over an hour waiting on our food. The service was horrible. (This visit was not during the covid pandemic)nnFast forward to today, again terrible service and an extremely long wait time for breakfast. I understand covid has thrown a wrench in things. I still will not be returning.
A Columbia tradition, everything from healthy ‘light’ cuisine to old fashioned diner food, at a drugstore!
Good food but lazy waitresses. They never return to check on you for refills, deserts, or bill. Everytime I've been there my waitress goes m.i.a. after taking my order. Other guest had to go ask for their bill too.
