Great place to get out and walk. Beautiful putting mom outings in the fall with the leaves changing and not hot out. Great for riding bicycle on trail.

A fairly short walk, not that steep, to a panoramic view of the Susquehanna River from hundreds of feet up. One would need to be agile to negotiate the rocks at the overlook. I'm 65 and I can still do it, but I am a somewhat fit and athletic person. Getting clumsier, though. But one can get a partial view from behind the rocks. There are side trails through the woods, and rock climbing opportunities below as well.

This is wonderfully beautiful trail for hiking or biking. However the parking areas are a hike away from the trail. Once on the trail, I think walking is better than biking to allow for absorbing the beauty of this area. It slows down your heart rate and feeds your soul to be surrounded by such beauty in nature.
