I attended a meeting here and I was very surprised when I entered the library. It was very clean, beautiful, and professional staff. Will come back again. A surprising gem!
They library itself is very clean and comfortable both on the inside and the outside, however the Uncle Tom that works there and some of the other staff should work on there customer service. The superficiality is duly noted.

I will never go back to this Library I was at the park with my niece need to use the bathroom real bad and home was too far away so I figured go to the public library I walked in the door and some weird man behind a desk demanded that I would give him ID just to use the bathroom and sign-in I don't know what kind of policy this is but it is against people's Fourth Amendment rights while I was in the bathroom that man could have been taking pictures of my ID or writing down my information to steal my identity this is not right to do to people it's not like he just looked at my ID and said go ahead he held it behind a desk so I don't know what he could have done with my information I would never use this Library they need to read the most important book that they have in their called the Constitution
This library has a decent selection of books, and Great selection of movies for it's size. It's not as big as the City, Elizabethtown, M-S (Mt Joy), or newer branches. The staff here are very helpful, and they do get busy, so you may have to wait for assistance at times. It's well worth it though. I have never been disappointed. I also love the inter-library loan system, it makes all the difference if you can't make the trip yourself to get a book Columbia doesn't have!
