I stayed here with my girlfriend recently. My girlfriend is...very different, noticeably. We were treated very friendly, and got no looks or comments. The entire place is lovely; a mix between very elegant, and traditional Pennsylvania Dutch items. Each morning we received a very elegant, 4 course breakfast. Our stay was a great mix of friendly and professional, and cozy and elegant. Would love to stay again.

We loved our stay the the Artist’s Inn! Jan and Bruce are such great hosts with such great attention to detail (even chocolates on our bed at night and fresh baked cookies always available). We stayed in the Rose Room Suite and it was as fabulous. The bed was so comfortable and everything was very clean.nThe breakfasts were out of this world and kept us full well into the afternoon! I loved that there was dessert at breakfast!nWe especially appreciated Jan and Bruce’s wealth of knowledge of the area. We found fun things to do to enjoy our weekend away.nWe will definitely be back!

Bruce and Jan were welcoming and maintained a clean and comfortable environment. The Kris Kringle room is true to its name and brought happy memories. They adhered to social distancing guidelines and we were able to enjoy breakfast in the room. It was delicious! After check out, we were able to spend time on the porch to enjoy the dessert that came with breakfast. Be sure to check out Bruce’s work. It will surely make you laugh! We can’t wait to return, especially for Jan’s kitchen skills.

From the moment we arrived until the sad time when we had to leave to return home, we enjoyed this beautiful Inn and our wonderful host and hostess, innkeepers Jan and Bruce. We have often stayed here, usually in the Garden Suite although we have also enjoyed the Kris Kringle room, the Rose Room Suite and the Sophie side of the Sister's House. The Garden Suite is my husband's favorite.nThe evening was perfect for sitting on the comfortable side porch watching the evening primrose blossoms spring to life and smelling the fresh air as it gently wafted up from the valley. We shared simple fare and funny stories. This was just what we needed after almost three months of social isolation.nJan prepared a healthy and satisfying breakfast before we had to depart the next day. Fresh local strawberries with cream, coconut almond muffins with local jam and a unique frittata that incorporated thinly sliced pears. The perfect ending to a special mini-vacation.nNot only is the Inn a special place to stay, Bruce's art is displayed throughout. His work consists mainly of humorous takes on events of daily life, including many centered around beloved family pets. It is always a treat to roam and enjoy. Try to make it from one picture to another without smiling or laughing out loud. Make sure to check out his many books that include pictures not displayed on the walls. Happiness abounds in this wonderful Inn in a sweet Americana town.

If your looking for a safe getaway during this pandemic this is a great place to stay . To celebrate an anniversary, to relax away from home, or simply to enjoy a nice place with a fire pit and outdoor grill . The hosts were the nicest people and had all the essentials one needs including breakfast food and more . They cleanliness was above and beyond . You can tell they change their sheets every time someone new came in because they had so many stored in each closet and they smelled clean. This is something that i feel strongly about when booking a place . Everything was disinfected and the hospitality couldn’t be better.
