I volunteer in the Juliana Book Store at the Duke Street branch of the Lancaster Public Library. We sell used books for $.50 -- 7.00. It is a busy place with diverse customers. I see so many customers who are visiting Lancaster. It is wonderful to talk with them, and they generally leave with a bag of books. I enjoy helping our library and spending time with people looking for a good read.

LPL goes above and beyond to bring the community a safe space to learn and grow. They're an invaluable institution in Lancaster. We particularly appreciate the children's programs and staff.
Very spacious and clean library.. Staff is very friendly and helpful.. Bathrooms needs to be tended to a little more and the one reading room always has a weird smell.. One security guard was little rude to my husband when he was trying to fix his jewelry accusing him of having drugs when it was a jewelry bag.. And the homeless population that lingers in there can be a bit much sometimes but overall its a good library with a great selection..
