I can't recommend GR Mitchell enough. Specifically, their Mill division. I emailed them with a question about a small project. I honestly wasn't even sure I would get a response as it was indeed a smaller project. I received a phone call the SAME day from the manager. He was incredibly helpful and willing to help. You just can't find service like this anymore. I met with him, ordered the custom item. My husband and I were so impressed with the service we received!
They are always so helpful and nice. I know they will always have what we need.
I have been going to G R Mitchell for many years both as a contractor and for supplies for my own projects. I live only ten minutes away, but I'd go a good deal further because of their fabulous prices and selection of materials. I rarely need to go elsewhere, and when I am an hour away and need to stop for nearby materials, I wish I was stopping at Mitchell's instead.

We are starting a project adding rough cut beams in our house. Josh at GR Mitchell's in Willow Street directed us to their mill shop where we met John to assist us in this project. What an impressive operation! With many species and dimensions to choose from, John helped us find just what we needed for this job. I cannot say enough how patient and helpful John was. Provided much expert advice. An excellent experience. Large or small projects, they can handle them all.
