Access Behavioral Health Services

I was surprised to see the 1-star ratings here. I've been going to Access for well over 5 years now, and haven't had any major issues at all. Since the squeaky wheel is the loudest, I felt driven to add a quieter and more satisfied wheel to the overall clockwork, as it were.nnI love my Nurse Practitioner, and there are a few assistants and receptionists (I can only fairly speak of the ones I've actually had interactions with) I can think of that also deserve praise. They've kept this up for over 5 years. That's a long time, especially for continuous behavioral care. I've never had a reason to look anywhere else.nnA lot of the negative reviews I've seen seem to be first-visit accounts that just didn't work out. For those of us with very difficult issues, I'm sure you can agree that meeting those issues head-on without much preparation for the first time is a large order. You can't expect anyone to have all the answers to your life-long problems on the first visit alone.nnI hope these people eventually come back, since history's shown that Access can take care of me in the long run, as it could for them. It was shaky for me in the beginning too, but now everything is working as intended, and I wouldn't entrust my care to anyone else.

This place is horrible, they are no help at all!! They like causing problems more than helping you. Their staff is extremely unqualified and have no business in this type of profession!! If you care for yourself and loved ones do not go here!! It's more about them making money off of you than anything!!!! You may never see a bill but you will suffer more than anything!!!! They make money by charging your insurance instead, I much prefer to pay myself if they were worth it!! IsI have suffered many mental illnesses for most of my life, I've seen the best and I've seen the worse!! Believe me, this place will cost you more than anything!!! You will be better off going thru, Health and Welfare services.

I really enjoy going but the people at the front desk tend to be kinda rude and the med managers treat me like I'm 5 and don't know anything about my own disorders! But my councilor is wonderful!

This is a great place and may of saved my life

Full Disclosure: I have had no contact with this facility or their providers but am appalled at the responses to client feedback. Take appropriate responsibility for the constructive comments people made the effort to provide. Recommending they make yet another call to discuss their adverse experience further is not their responsibility... you need to make the effort to reach out. What action have you taken to resolve so many of the issues I read about? These reviews are very troubling and the positive ones provide limited information.
