Beautiful flat gravel path that runs along the Susquehanna River. Great place to walk run or bike.

This is the entry point for anyone who wants to run, walk, or bike along this part of the Susquehanna River. It’s beautiful here! And there is plenty of parking in a very safe lot that has cameras as well as an outhouse bathroom. There are mile markers (and half mile markers) along the trail as well as benches and picnic tables all along the trail. So lovely!

I came here to geocache the trail, but I think I picked the wrong time of year. The trail is really nice, and the geocache hides are good. I enjoyed hiking along the river. But the day I tried to hike it, the wind felt like it was blowing about 60 MPH, cold, and straight up the river at me. I was hiking with it at my back at first, so didn't realize how cold it was and went out a couple of miles. The hike back into that wind was a real trial. I sat on the steps of the caboose for a bit, just to warm up some. Would love to come back when it's warmer! Would make a nice, pretty hike.
