City Church Boise

Friends of bill W this is the most beautiful meeting I have ever been to I absolutely love all of the people and their kindness everyone shows so much respect to the newcomers. I am 27 days sober today and it has definitely been the hardest day of my life in sobriety this will be my 1st 30th day birthday I am so excited for it I literally locked myself in my Room and locked my front door so that I would not get out and go do something stupid like drink use drugs or anything in said I called my sponsor a mediately after a locking all the doors anyway I like today and I immediately apologized for it that is totally new for me but I absolutely love it the big book Of bill W Is a completely new language and it helps me so much and I have not so many friends And family. My hope is that any newcomer like myself at 27 days sober for the 1st time in my life Can reach Enlightenment and love . Find a sponsor and do exactly as he or she says you will be amazed if you follow his or her instructions exactly if you have a question text or call them. You can do this but only by following your sponsors instructions whether you are a woman or man it doesn't matter if you have this disease whether it be alcoholism addiction both or more you are meant to be here . My sponsor has always told me To do the work no matter what it takes when I asked him to be my sponsor he said are you willing to do anything for your sobriente I said yes at least I thought I was ready I hoped I was ready then he asked are you willing to follow my instructions. I said yes and of course as time passed I started doing the work that he has instructed me to do The work. The morning prayer on Pages 86 87 and 88 are beautiful and have helped me so much the nightly prayer before bed on page 86 is super important to me as well it has helped me greatlyI hope that it can do the same for youWherever you are in life and whatever story you may have and may need to live through it is going to be OK know this nowFor if I can do this so can you thank you for being here for me when I couldn't be there for myself and thank you for loving me when I couldn't love myself I love the rooms And the Fellowship of bill W. There is great strength in the rooms of the friends a bill W and this place is a great starting point or At least has been and will continue To be for me Much love always kindness and positivity Always take a breath it's OK to ask for help I hope this helps someone But this has been my story But I hope they can help you to in some way

Have attended City Church for a few months. I was so grateful for the warmth with which I was welcomed. All the teaching I have heard is firmly rooted in the Bible, the pastor is humble and kind, and the people are genuinely interested in being positive influences in the Boise community in practical ways like community gardens and social & charitable causes.

I love the City Church Boise community. I never feel the need to pretend I am something I'm not, yet we are always challenging one another to move forward with Jesus. I am humbled to be part of a community in which so many people are willing to give themselves away for the sake of our city, in the name of Jesus and His Gospel.

City Church is AMAZING! Everything is Christ-centered, and the Sunday morning gatherings have a great balance of theological depth, without losing people who don't come from a Christian background. But my favorite thing is that it's a community of gospel communities. We don't just see one another on Sunday mornings. We live life together and see each other throughout the week! This is what the church was meant to be doing! Check it out!
