Communication was lacking, but it was the beginning of the semester. Took a week and a half to get a physical access card that they sold as an online product without any information on the website stating so. I called and emailed to cancel the order before shipping (24 hours prior) but the next response I got was that it shipped and they had issued a return label for when I was delivered to me. We are 6 months into this pandemic and I would think that they would have a better process in place.
Very ashamed to be associated with this university and very disheartened and angered by their treatment of students during this pandemic. Lead, organize, and take responsibility. Be transparent with your students instead of blaming them for your shortcomings. Campus should never have opened and the consequences of opening is on the hands of the university and public health officials.
