Decent Lower Trail access point. This is the current eastern most terminus of the Lower Trail. There is a nice bathroom facility and a larger parking lot. You can access the Frankstown branch of the Juniata river from here too. What it lacks is the feeling of being 'out', it is smack up against the main road into Alexandria, and there is little green space at the trail head. It serves its purpose well, but it is not a loveable location in it's own right.
