Shauna Mickens - State Farm Insurance Agent

I have been with State Farm for 20 plus years. Had to change agents approximately 5 years ago. I call and ask for her and she somehow is never able to take or return my calls. In 5 years I’ve talked to her twice. Both times she was unable to answer questions and had one of her staff respond. Half the time the answers did not pertain to the questions I’d ask. I also work for a mortgage company and I have had clients complain about her as well. Finally changing. Good riddance.

Definitely one of the worst experiences in my life. I had water damage in my house and I got stuck with a lying adjuster from State farm. Their solution was to under pay a contractor, have them put a lien on my house, and then sue the company. Crazy right? All the while they ignored repeated calls from the company and lie about what was said. This would not of been a big problem, if this office and upper management would believe what the customer said but they protect their own. This office would not help me at all, instead push me off to the adjuster. To anyone reading this just know one thing, that is State Farm does not care about its customers and they do not live up to their reputation.

I found better coverage at a other insurance company, while still cheaper than State Farm. I've gone through State Farm claims and it is a joke. Incompetentence at another level! Also, this office was useless. In the last few reviews, Shauna says that she was confused, which is funny because her whole job is to help people, especially in complicated situations. Looks like she doesn't have the ability to do just so. If you read this I would advise you to look elsewhere.

Shauna and her team are always looking at ways to save me money and provide the best coverage. I am happy that I am a client of theirs.

Shauna has been my State Farm agent for 15 years and I so appreciate her knowledge, professionalism, good humor and understanding of my insurance needs as they have changed over the years. She is always accessible and responsive to my questions and concerns. I enjoy working with her staff when the need arises and appreciate the personal touch that they seem to show to clients.
