We’re military so we had to PCS here in March. I made an appointment with them before we left our prior base to make sure my daughter would be on time with the upkeep of her braces. We have our first appointment May 7th. He looked at my daughters braces and made sure her brackets were the same as the ones he has in his office and they were. He gave us a treatment plan and said they would get everything sent into our insurance company. To make a long story short, our insurance company is saying they haven’t received anything from the office and that we should probably find a new orthodontist so that’s what we have done. They do great dental work but the communication between the desk clerks and insurance companies isn’t great at all and we’re very disappointed. It was already stressful enough moving here during a pandemic and finding a new orthodontist. This is the last thing that we wanted to deal with. So to any military who has to move here and have children with braces already, please make sure the orthodontist is really willing to work with what was already started elsewhere so you won’t run into the problems that we have and have to pay extra on top of what we’ve already paid. It’s not cheap at all.

Dr. Mongillo is a master at what he does. He was able to adjust my decades old retaining wire and re-fit it to a “T.” If you need ortho expertise in the Treasure Valley, I highly recommend Boise Orthodontics.

This office of is truly awesome! They are so nice & helpful. The office is spotless & we’ve never waited more than five minutes to be seen. Dr. Mongillo is excellent. Great with kids & really great at explaining to us parents what is going on. The appointments go quickly & the entire team is really efficient. Could not recommend this office enough!!

I had the pleasure of going to Boise Orthodontics for the two years I had my braces. The staff is amazing, and my teeth are better than I could have imagined. The staff explained everything very clearly and made me feel very comfortable.
