I have two prescriptions sent to me from Erie Pharmacy. They are always proactive in refilling my prescriptions quickly, including contacting my doctor when I need new prescriptions.

I see two separate physicians at this location and find it very convenient to be able to get my rx without having to drive somewhere else. In my experience as a registered nurse for over 40 yrs I’ve worked closely with the pharmacy dept at Hamot. People don’t realize that physicians may do the prescribing but it’s your pharmacist who ultimately assures your safety. They understand these drugs at the cellular/molecular level, and will know contraindications, off label use, possible incompatibilities with other meds, and often have to correct physicians who may order a inappropriate drug and/or dose.nI transferred all my rx from cvs to Erie Pharmacy 2 months ago and consider Jeff my personal pharmacist, as important to me as a personal physician. He always takes time to answer questions and explore alternative meds/treatments which docs are too busy or just uninformed to help much.nOh- did I mention that he’s a really cool guy? So friendly with a great sense of humor. Check him out, your doc may write the script but your safety is in Jeff’s hands. The Right patient, Right drug, Right dose, Right route Right time.nAnd!
