Competent, attentive staff who are willing to go above and beyond to care for you. We have used them multiple times for a few different issues, some complicated, and have been very pleased with each interaction and result. Not only are the doctors top notch, the facility itself is extremely clean and up to date.

Amazing Service! I highly recommend Makana North Shore to all! Dr. Kimball, Kendall and staff are friendly, caring, professional and took good care of me. My situation was not urgent, called for a dermatology appointment, was able to secure an appointment immediately, no wait time! From the first phone call, to securing an appointment immediately, thorough diagnosis, follow up and care is outstanding. Well needed clinic for everyone on Kauai.

Best experience I’ve had at an urgent care. From the woman at the front desk to the two nurses that saw me it was a 5-star experience. I was greeted by Sarah who did the preliminary check of my temp/blood pressure and then Kaitlynn who came in and cleaned/stitched me up in a jiffy. The two were so sweet and made sure I was comfortable the whole time I was in there. Amazing staff, best experience yet!!!

I visited Makana Urgent Care on 2/22/2020 when I noticed I was short of breath after catching a cold and running a low fever. I was seen quickly and received excellent care. They were very thorough and tested for the flu and ordered a lung ex-ray on site even when my lungs sounded clear. I had pneumonia. They administered antibiotic treatment on site since all nearby pharmacies were closed and called in a prescription to be filled the next day. They quickly provided my primary care doctor my medical history and film on the next business day. I don’t believe I could have found better medical care anywhere and am so appreciative of their care and expertise.

We had an extremely positive experience at Dr. Kimball’s clinic when my husband suffered a corneal abrasion while hiking. The reception was fast and efficient, and Ashley was friendly and professional. Dr. Kimball went way above expectations in providing information and context on the injury. The visit was smooth right down to the prescription filling, which took only about two minutes. Thank you to Makana North Shore Clinic for helping us enjoy our Kauai vacation!
