This clandestine private-feeling gem has some of the best cocktails in town with exceptional, knowledgable service befitting serious drinkers.
I really like the whole vibe of the Franklin Bar and the effort they go to in order to get that speakeasy feel. I had a bartenders selection drink, old fashioned, for $22. A little pricey but it was well made. Great place for a date or just a few friends hanging out. I don't mind loud music but they could have turned it down just a few notches.
One of Philly’s best speakeasies! Went to Philadelphia to celebrate Valentine’s Day and was not disappointed with all the amazing speakeasies and bars the city had to offer, but Franklin was a stand out. With incredible drinks and a romantic ambiance, it was the perfect place for a night cap. Definitely a must visit for any craft cocktail lover looking for a chill romantic vibe for drinks.
nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. if it wasn't far from my work i would come by more.
Place was alright. The drinks were good not great and at $15 per drink at minimum I was hoping for better drinks. Location is hard to find and the lighting was very dim. I'm sure it's an attractive ambiance for many others. I was there with my love and that made the experience great, but objectively not the best type of place for us.
