Always a delight here. Everyone is helpful and friendly. So willing to go the extra mile!
I started going to the Haverford Library back in September of 2011, and to me, it's the best library in all of Delaware County! The staff there is very friendly, professional, and helpful. I am also able to get on to the computers right away and get my two hours in as well.nnUnfortunately, I have not been there since last November. On the day before Thanksgiving, I was taken by ambulance to Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital due to an arthritic left leg that I have had since last September. I was discharged from Fitzgerald Mercy on December 13. I was then transferred over here to St. Francis for further medical treatment and therapy, and I have been here ever since. I really miss coming here to the library; especially on Saturday afternoons. But as soon as they lift these restrictions and the libraries all reopen, I am coming back!
My family uses this primarily for the upstairs children's section. They regularly host great activities for my children - magic shows, scavenger hunts, lego events, STEM activities and more. My kids LOVE the library and all have their own library cards. They are great at inter-library loans with other area libraries, as well. Their overdrive selection for mobile is also quite good.
Love the place; great selection, superb librarians, and an all around amazing place to be.
