Staff were very rude with my son for overdue books that were due during a holiday season. I'm glad fines were dropped but I will be taking my son to a different branch.
This is an amazing place with very courteous staff! They also have an option to print (for 50 cents a page).nnYou do need to be a member of the free library of Philadelphia. If not, you can sign up for free membership on the spot. Overall, a great place in the community!

OMELIO IS AWESOME!! I LOVE THIS LIBRARY!!
I frequent this library, as I do all of them in the city. Unfortunately, the security guards behavior is that of, one who thinks she owns the library. She speaks terribly to the children and other patrons and demonstrates poor integrity, manners and respect. Some of the librarians speak negatively about you, while you are sitting there. There is just a lack of professionalism... It's very unfortunate considering the library is suppose to be a staple in the community where people can find and utilized resources to prosper academically, economically and intellectually. Not to mention the lack of variety and available books to borrow. I'd say this is one of the worst branches in the city!
