Spacious parking for hikers. Lot is easy to find and level. 2 access points. Creek is most reliable water on AT for 12 miles either way. There is a decent amount of usage during my stops which is a positive for vehicle security.

Left my car here while hiking Peter's mountain with no issues, the parking lot is huge. However... this is one of the most beautiful camping spots and I recommend it often, can't wait to go back simply to camp.

If you enjoy the outdoors.. its worth your time to stop and take it all in..just be mindful of the local wildlife.. i moved these two off of the road.
