Good things first: the staff are friendly and helpful, there is an entire balcony area for children's books and junior fiction with a small toy area for toddlers so you don't have to wonder where they are or what they're looking at, and there are comfortable areas for adults to sit and read. There are interesting events and clubs to attend. Negative things: it's small so there is limited selection and the building is old so bathrooms especially need updating. Overall a cozy library in a historic building that meets community needs.

I love the Middletown public library. It has all the books I love and want!!!
