Cooney's Kitchens & Flooring

Mr. & Mrs. Cooney are very nice people. They are very kind, courteous and professional. The quality of the materials they sell is excellent. I had my floor put in 3 years ago and I love it. My problem is the person who installed it. The man was kind of stand-offish. He asked me if I wanted a flat trim and I told him No! It appeared that he had it in his truck for a very long time. I told him I wanted the traditional trim NOT the flat. I then left and went shopping. When I returned he had the flat trim completely installed. I was livid but he told me my husband said it was okay. Whether he did or not I don't know but we had the conversation before I left and I told him No. It was only because of Mr. & Mrs. Cooney that I didn't say anything although I was LIVID. The trim cracked up and split all over my kitchen. I started to go to Consumer Protection but I realized it was not The Cooney's fault. I probably should have brought this to their attention but I didn't. They were recommended by a neighboring Minister of theirs who is a friend of my husband, who is also a minister. I now have to have someone come in and remove this trim and replace it with what I should have had in the first place.nI probably will patronize the Cooney's again, I need new kitchen countertops, but I will not go there until that contractor is no longer there. Again, I do not blame the Cooney's for this. I did not make them aware of this, now I wish I had. I believe Mr. Cooney would have looked into this.
