I find that since the modernization of the store it is one of the best in the greater Harrisburg area. Before the upgrade of the store often the item needed it was out of stock however I find that everything needed now is on the shelf. Thumbs Up For Hornung's.
I advise you to pass this store and go straight to Lowe's or home Depot. True value in Halifax pa never has what I need. I have went in the store many times for things they said they didn't have. I understand once or twice but it's Everytime I go there for something. You would think they would stock there inventory better.
Store is a little messy but service was good .
Love this place. Very nice people and very knowledgeable. Plus they have a very friendly cat who always happy to greet people. Would recommend this place to anyone expectally cat people. Just remember to greet the cat. He loves attention.
The employees here are very helpful with any questions you have, but so many times they haven't had what I'm looking for. Don't seem to be staffed well enough to keep the store organized. Renting tools is a nightmare, several times I've had something reserved and they forgot to have it shipped to the store from one of the other locations and I had to either do without the tool or drive to Harrisburg to pick it up myself.
