Lots of potential but far to rocky and loose. I went in late fall, perhaps a bad time of year if the soil has washed off of the trails through the summer, but it was punishing even on full suspension. Tough to maintain any momentum so you are working for it continually. The East side was more flowing, but I was totally spent from the West side til I got there. Lots of cool features scattered throughout, but they need to groom the trails to make it worth a return trip.

SAMBA has done a killer job with these trails, particularly on the West side of the park. Considering we live in central PA and its rocky and rooty, expect some of that. They put in some fun jumps and a log bridge, and up on the top of the west side is a kind of dirt bowl you ride in and spits you out. Great job Samba! There is also plenty of parking btw.

The good news is that all the trails are one way, everything is very well marked, there are no horses, and I didn't pass any walkers during my ride. The bad news is that the surface is loose rock in many sections and the (very) brief moments of descending are far outweighed by the slogging over loose rocks and constant switchbacks slowing you down. The surface may improve with time as it wears in more, but the design is frustrating.

Fun place to ride when you want a change of pace. Has some really cool features mixed in on the trails. The main downfall of this place is that the trail direction on the signs is different than the trail direction on trailforks. This made it a bit difficult to navigate. Some of the turns should be made into dirt instead of rocks due to the angle of the turn. Besides that we had fun and will definitely be going back!

Not quite what im interested in. If you like to pedal, this place is great. Otherwise it lacks flow on many of the trails with loose tight corners and trails that cross hills instead of going down them. That being said there are three trails worth checking out in my opinion: W2, W3 and W4. These trails as a whole are ok, but they have some great jumps and sections you can session/practice your skills. I'll be back, but I know what trails I'll be sticking to when I return.
