Great place to find your next adventure!!!! So glad to see there is an actual book store in Yakima still!! The owners seem nice too and knowledgeable as well. The books are affordable and well cared for definitely check it out!!!!
Encore books sells both new and used books. The books are arranged by type, then by author. I have found many books that I am interested in there.nRecently I brought a box of my old books there. The owner went through them and selected the ones that he believes he can sell. For those, I received store credit worth half of the original retail price of the books. That credit is transferable, including to an account for students to buy books to read for school.
I love books and the fact you can bring books in and get credit to buy more books is awesome! They have romance, children, young adult, self help, fantasy, sci-fi and alot more. They have tons of books.
Wonderful to discover an old-fashioned bookstore with used and new physical books by all my favorite authors, plus a bunch of new ones- all just walking distance from home.
