Quaint and dainty are the first things that comes to mind when trying to describe this library. Nuzzled in the countryside, this is possibly one of the smallest libraries in Chester county. Small doesn't necessarily mean this is any less utilitarian than any of the others. Largely run by friendly volunteers, this library is still equipped with enough computers and books to allow one to spend a quiet afternoon browsing and/or reading.
Great library and helpful staff. Although it is small, you can research books and request them online. They are then waiting for you as soon as you visit the library. The library has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and they do many events for children. It is set in the scenic village of Historic Yellow Springs. There are often art shows and community events you can also enjoy.
My grandson and I have been going to story time for a few years now. Miss Lisa is great with the children, very engaging as well as librarians Miss Diane and Miss Nancy. Everyone has a very welcome hello and takes the time to chat- a wonderful experience from the moment you walk through the doors.nKaren Foster
Great library with a good selection of books. Great programs too, and it's set in historic yellow Springs.
