Monique is a well informed, patient, and skilled instructor. She creates a caring and inspiring space to create. Monique is very attentive to your desires and teaches you what you want to know. I enjoyed learning more about encaustic art with Monique. I highly recommend taking classes with her. She is also an outstanding artist. I loved seeing her work each time I got to work in her studio.

Loved the classes with Monique! She is such a dedicated teacher with so much love for her work, and in each session, I learned so much! She has instilled a love for encaustic art in me - to me, that is the biggest tribute I can give to a teacher.

I absolutely loved Monique’s artwork from the moment I saw it online. I was drawn to her vibrant colors of landscapes and flowers and her use of painting with oil, acrylic and encaustic wax. I am thrilled to be the owner of a magnificent piece of one of her encaustic poppy flowers! It’s small, just how like it and it’s a masterpiece to me!

Monique is a unique and gifted artist!!! She creates beautiful paintings in both oils and encaustics, as well as stunning sculptures in metal and raku!!!
