I was referred to the law library by an attorney, who thought the librarian would direct me to forms etc, needed for my case.nI soon found out the librarian assistant was very cordial but, it was clear she had no training for the position to help non lawyers find material - non at all. Matter of fact there is no trained librarian either.nI would not recommend anyone to use this non functioning process.nWhat I do not know is, if this process was an attempt to discourage the use of the library, it worked. Question is, who is paying for this non functioning service - hope it isn’t the tax payer, which I suspect is the case.nNice thought, but this process needs to be thought out better starting with a trained librarian. Nice people though - just has no value.nAs a matter for info, I contacted a certified librarian with a masters degree in librarian work who stated she would not be a candidate for the librarian position because this position requires special training, which she does not posses.nSo, who is responsible for this injustice? This info isn't about the people who work there, it's about a poor process.
Excellent resource.
The assistant was very nice and helped me providing me instructions to get the forms I needed and how to print. You have to pay for printing.
