I recently made a visit to this little library in Osceola Mills. I was treated so wonderfully by the woman behind the desk (I'm assuming she was the librarian) that it brought a tear to my eye. It was around Christmas and I had to send a fax. This woman was so kind, pleasant and helpful and I was a complete stranger. I have such appreciation for people who carry themselves like this. Especially while at work. I feel like people get paid $14/hr in State College and treat their customers and clients like garbage. I can not thank the staff here enough for the help they provided me. The warmth of this library is still intact and I've heard only good things whenever it comes to people who visit with their children. I highly suggest you make a trip to this little local library. I believe there is also a museum attached as well in the same beautiful rustic building. There is a park in the lot right beside the library and a small family owned pizza shoppe about 500 ft from the park. Don't have cash on you? There's a CNB ATM across the street and the pizza place accepts cards. Fun summer day with education in the mix.
